Margaret SPRING 1
Notes: Margaret was the youngest daughter of Robert Spring (qv), a baker and shipowner in Aberdeen. She raised her family in Aberdeen, and after her husband died kept a boarding house, then retired to South Ronaldsay where she lived with her eldest daughter Margaret (qv). Margaret married Alexander MORTIMER, son of Alexander MORTIMER and Jean ANDERSON, on 11 Jun 1826 in St Nicholas, Aberdeen.1 (Alexander MORTIMER was christened on 10 Feb 1789 in Rayne, Aberdeenshire,5 died on 24 Feb 1851 in Aberdeen 6 and was buried on 28 Feb 1851 in St Clement, Aberdeen 7.) |
