The eldest surviving son, William inherited his father's inn and other property in Stoud. He and his wife Hannah Bayfield, who was probably from Minchinhampton, had five children - two daughters and three sons. The married names of their daughters were Hannah Stratton and Mary Knight, but little more is known about them. Their eldest son was William Lloyd (qv). The next son Nathaniel was probably a clothier in Uley - two of his sons were clothiers, in Uley and Cam. Their yougest son Richard inherited a house in Stroud from his father, but little more is known about him.
