Richard was a carpenter and property owner in Stroud. He and his wife Joan identified three children and two grandchildren in their wills. Their only son was Richard (qv). The married name of their daughter Ann was Ann Fowler - she had two children. Their other daughter Mary married twice, to John Clarke and John Collier.
