Thomas HARRIS
(1571-1611) |
Thomas HARRIS 2
Notes: Thomas was a contemporary of Thomas Harris also Smith who was the longest serving Rector of Padbury (1593-1644), and it is likely they were related - Thomas's son Richard also changed his name to Smith. Thomas died relatively young and left five children from his marriage to Elizabeth Studder, who inherited his property in Padbury. The eldest son Thomas was not mentioned in his uncle John's will (written in 1629), so presumably died before then. The other sons were Simon and Richard (qv). There were also two younger daughters Elizabeth and Alice who were unmarried in 1629. Thomas married Elizabeth STUDDER on 16 Feb 1596 in St Mary the Virgin, Padbury, Buckinghamshire.1 (Elizabeth STUDDER died after 1610 4.) |
