Notes: Harris was a landowner in Padbury, and built a substantial house near the church which is still standing. He married Frances Parsons (qv) of Hendon in Middlesex Their daughter Frances married her cousin Bernard Turney of Cublington: their only surviving daughter Mary married Thomas Sheppard of Littlecote in the Parish of Stewkley, but she died soon after their marriage. Harris and Frances' other daughter Hester married Thomas Theed of Linslade in Buckinghamshire, and their only son was Richard (qv). Harris married Frances PARSONS, daughter of Allen PARSONS and Unknown, on 20 Sep 1681 in St Mary Magdalen Old Fish Street, London.1 (Frances PARSONS was born in 1660 6 and was buried on 17 Jul 1705 in St Mary the Virgin, Padbury, Buckinghamshire 4.) |
