bullet  Notes:

The eldest son, William married his cousin Rachel Fawdry in Brailes in Warwickshire. They lived across the county border in Swalcliffe in Oxfordshire until around 1800 when they moved to Birmingham, where William was a milkman. They had eight children - six daughters and two sons. Their eldest daughter Rachel firstly married her cousin George Fawdry, who was also a milkman in Birmingham, and secondly to Joseph Thomas, who was a milkman and later an Agent for the Birmingham Canal Company. Their eldest son William was a milkman, did not marry, and drowned in the Edgbaston Pool in 1851 (from suicide). Their next daughter was Lucy (qv), who married James Thomas (qv), the brother of Joseph Thomas who five years later married Lucy's widowed older sister Rachel. Their next two daughters were Sarah who married James Peters, a waterman in Wandsworth; and Ann who married Joseph Ward, a brass founder in Lee Bank Birmingham. Their next daughter Elizabeth married Moses Pressdee, a warehouseman in Birmingham; he died from TB in his late 30s. Their youngest daughter Charlotte married Thomas Upton, a jeweller in Birmingham; he died from TB in his early 40s. Their youngest son Cornelius was also a milkman in Birmingham, and had eight children with his wife Mary Burdidge; their two married daughters both moved to London.

William left 10 houses in the Lee Bank district of Birmingham to his two sons.
