bullet  Notes:

William was a fuller in Radford in the Parish of Enstone. He identified his wife Elinor (qv) and eight children in his will written in 1599. He left his fulling workshop and equipment to his eldest son Raphe (qv). He then had three daughters: Margaret who married John Johnson, a miller in Bladon; Joan who married Robert Bumpus; and Ann whose married name was Hubbard. His next son Richard inherited a house in Banbury from his grandfather Raphe, and had 11 children with his wife Jane including a daughter Joan who emigrated to Massachusetts with her husband Thomas Faxon. William's next daughter's married name was Waterman. The next three sons were William; John who may also have been a fuller; and Edmund who may have died young as he was not mentioned in his father's will.
