Raphe FAWDRY
(-1622) |
Raphe FAWDRY 2
Notes: Raphe was the eldest son, and lived in Radford in the Parish of Enstone. He inherited a house in Banbury from his grandfather, and his father's fulling workshop and equipment which he left to his son William (qv), the only child named in his will of 1621. He also bequeathed farmland in the Parish of Steeple Barton to his son William, and in Radford to William's daughter Ann, so had presumably invested some of the profits of the fulling business in farming. Raphe married Elizabeth MASON on 31 Jan 1597 in St Kenelm, Enstone, Oxfordshire.1 (Elizabeth MASON died after 1621 4.) |
