bullet  Notes:

The Yalden (aka Yaldwyn) family is thought to be of Saxon origin, and their ownership of Blackdown in the Parish of Lodsworth in the High Weald of Sussex dates back to the 14th Century, passed down through a long line of William Yaldens.

Although there is no documentary evidence to prove the relationship, it is likely that William (qv) who remained in Lodsworth, Thomas who was a farmer in Bramshott in Hampshire, and Robert (qv) who moved to Bramshott and then to Petersfield, were brothers.
