Reginald FAINT ²

Reginald was probably the son of John Faint and Margery Bonsfell, who married in 1675 in Asby. Both John and Reginald Faint were churchwardens of Asby in 1716. Reginald was resident of Waterhouses for his marriage to Jane Rudd (qv) in 1703, and of Dona Close for the baptism of his son Philip in 1715. He was presumably a farmer. He had 10 children with his wife Jane, but limited information is available for them, except for his eldest surviving son Philip (qv).

Reginald married Jane RUDD, daughter of Philip RUDD and Jane, on 29 Apr 1703 in St Peter, Asby, Westmorland.¹ (Jane RUDD was christened on 14 Jul 1674 in St Peter, Asby, Westmorland ¹.)
