Notes: John farmed at Binscombe in Surrey, and was recorded with five hearths for the 1664 Hearth Tax. He married Ann Stovold in 1654, and had three surviving children. He left his property in Binscombe to his oldest son John (qv), and sums of money to his younger son William "when he comes to England", and daughter Ann who was married to James Quennell, a butcher in Guildford. John married Ann STOVOLD on 24 Apr 1654 in St Peter and St Paul, Godalming, Surrey.1 (Ann STOVOLD was buried on 15 Apr 1709 in St Peter and St Paul, Godalming, Surrey 4.) |
