Louisa COMPIGNÉ 1
Notes: Louisa was the only surviving daughter, and was presumably brought up in Holborn in London where her father had his mercer's business. She attended the Neales' school for girls in Nottingham, where she most likely met her future husband Samuel Chase (qv). Her 11 children were born in Cambridge, Wellingborough and Northampton. Louisa married Samuel CHASE, son of Dr Samuel CHASE and Elizabeth Ann NEALE, on 15 Jun 1809 in St Pancras Parish Church, Middlesex.1 2 (Samuel CHASE was born on 2 Jul 1787 in Luton, Bedfordshire,8 died on 10 Sep 1863 in Brighton, Sussex 9 10 and was buried on 12 Sep 1863 in Reading Cemetery, Berkshire 11.) |
