Notes: He was probably the Thomas Umfreville of London who leased Kew Ferry in 1632, although he also had connections with Suffolk - he was described as 'Suffolk Gent' in the St Andrews Holborn burial register. Thomas married Dorothy ST CLERE. Thomas next married Jane HYDE, daughter of William HYDE and Unknown. (Jane HYDE was christened on 24 Aug 1603 in St Nicholas, Hurst, Berkshire 4 and was buried on 3 Mar 1642 in St Mary, Stoke next Nayland, Suffolk 5.) |
