He was probably the Thomas Umfreville of London who leased Kew Ferry in 1632, although he also had connections with Suffolk - he was described as 'Suffolk Gent' in the St Andrews Holborn burial register. ![]() Thomas married Dorothy ST CLERE. ![]() Thomas next married Jane HYDE, daughter of William HYDE and Unknown. (Jane HYDE was christened on 24 Aug 1603 in St Nicholas, Hurst, Berkshire 4 and was buried on 3 Mar 1642 in St Mary, Stoke next Nayland, Suffolk 5.) |
