The younger son, Michael was born in Wokingham in Hampshire but was living in Whitechapel when he married in 1678. He was a member of the Merchant Tailor Livery Company, although his trade was mathematical instrument maker. He was probably the Michael Marlow who was living in Fleece Alley in Wapping for the 1693/4 tax assessment. Michael married Sarah GILSON, daughter of Rev Thomas GILSON and Sarah, on 7 May 1678 in St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney, Middlesex.1 2 (Sarah GILSON was born on 7 Jan 1657 6, christened on 29 Jan 1657 in St Mary the Virgin, Little Baddow, Essex,7 died Of in Shoreditch, Middlesex 8 and was buried on 5 Jan 1709 in Bunhill Fields Burial Ground, City Rd, Middlesex 9.) |
