Notes: John was a widower when he married Henrietta Whately (qv) in 1748. Little else is known about him, although he may have had Irish Protestant ancestry. He and Henrietta had at least four children who survived to be adults. John married Henrietta WHATELY, daughter of William WHATELY and Henrietta WARREN, on 4 Aug 1748 in St Katherine Coleman, London.1 2 (Henrietta WHATELY was born on 11 Jul 1719 in Stepney, Middlesex 6, christened on 22 Jul 1719 in St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney, Middlesex,7 died on 18 Dec 1796 in Luton, Bedfordshire 8 and was buried on 23 Dec 1796 in Baptist Burial Ground, Luton, Bedfordshire 9.) |
