Little is known about Thomas apart from entries in Parish Registers. He was the last of his family to be baptised in Church Knowle - his younger siblings were all baptised in Corfe Castle. He had five children with his wife Sarah Clarke (qv), three daughters and two sons, mostly baptised in Corfe Castle. Their eldest son John (qv) moved to Warminster and then to Reading; and their younger son James moved to London, where he is thought to have had six children with his three wives. Thomas and Sarah's youngest daughter Kezia married John Harden of Swanage.
