Henry EDE ²

Henry was a yeoman farmer in Ash. He married Elizabeth Grove (qv) in 1568, and had eight children baptised in Seale and Ash. Their married children were Stephen, who married Agnes Mone and whose son Stephen inherited Henry's land in Worplesdon; Henry (qv); Jane who married Henry Long in Guildford; and Elizabeth who married George Boylet, the brother of Henry jnr's wife Joan Boylet. Their youngest son William did not marry and was a servant of his brother Henry at the time of his death in 1642 in Ash. Henry left land in Worplesdon and Chiddingfold in his will.
