Dr Samuel CHASE 2
Notes: Samuel was the elder son, and founder of the family business Samuel Chase and Sons in Luton ('apothecaries, man-midwives and surgeons'), and was one of the Bedfordshire Inspectors for the Foundling Hospital in London. He owned extensive land and property in Luton and elsewhere when he died in 1803. Samuel married Elizabeth GREEN on 2 Oct 1744 in St Paul, Bedford.1 (Elizabeth GREEN was born in 1718,5 died on 29 Jul 1793 in Luton, Bedfordshire 4 6 and was buried on 2 Aug 1793 in Baptist Burial Ground, Luton, Bedfordshire 7.) |
