Elizabeth was the daughter of a farmer from Aldershot in Hampshire, and had one brother and four sisters. She married John Hammond (qv) of Binscombe in Surrey, and outlived him and three of her four children, continuing to live at Binscombe. Her surviving son William was her executor and residual legatee.
