(-Aft 1608) |
Estienne DE SANTHUNS 1
Notes: Estienne most likely came to Canterbury from Cambrai in Hainaut Province, the known origin of several of his children. He was probably a silk weaver, and had at least five children - one daughter Marie (qv), and four sons. They were: Guillaume who was first recorded in Canterbury for the baptism of his son David in 1598; Jacques (Guillaume's step-brother) who was an Elder in the Walloon Church; Nicolas who married three times including Anthoinette De Neu, daughter of James De Neu (qv), and was also a Church Elder; and Tobie. Estienne married Catherine BUQUET. |
