Francis was the only known married son of Thomas Taylor of Carsington. He married Hannah Heywood (qv) in Crich in 1715, and had five children who were all baptised in Carsington, where he died aged 67. Their eldest daughter Jane, and two younger daughters both named Hannah, are only known from their baptism entries. Their other daughter was Deborah (qv). Their only son Francis married Mary Taylor in Carsington, where they raised their five children.
