Notes: The eldest daughter of a yeoman farmer in Ash, Joan married Henry Ede (qv) of Ash, and had two daughters. She was joint executor and main beneficiary in her husband's will, but survived him by only one year. Joane married Henry EDE, son of Henry EDE and Elizabeth GROVE, on 24 Sep 1604 in St Peter, Ash, Surrey.1 (Henry EDE was christened on 1 Mar 1579 in St Laurence, Seale, Surrey 4 and was buried on 22 Aug 1654 in St Peter, Ash, Surrey 3.) |
