William was a fuller in Radford in the Parish of Enstone. He identified his wife Elinor (qv) and eight children in his will. He left his fulling workshop and equipment to their eldest son Raphe (qv). They then had three daughters: Margaret who married John Johnson, a miller in Bladon; Joan who married Robert Bumpas, a fuller in the Parish of Charlbury; and Ann whose married name was Hubbard. Their next son Richard inherited a house in Banbury from his grandfather Raphe, and had 11 children with his wife Jane including a daughter Joan who emigrated to Massachusetts with her husband Thomas Faxon. The married name of their next daughter Joyce was Waterman. Their next three sons were William; John who may also have been a fuller; and Edmund who may have died young as he was not mentioned in his father's will. Their two youngest daughters were Elizabeth and Annis. ![]() William married Elinor. (Elinor died Of in Radford, Oxfordshire 3 and was buried on 1 Nov 1615 in St Kenelm, Enstone, Oxfordshire 2.) |
