Elizabeth was the only daughter of Capt Francis Cave of Ingarsby in Leicestershire, and Lady Rebecca Villiers. After she married William Wollaston (qv) she lived in Shenton Hall, where she brought up her family, until her death in 1717.

Elizabeth married William WOLLASTON, son of William WOLLASTON and Anne WHITGREVE. (William WOLLASTON was born in 1623,1 died on 19 Aug 1688 3 and was buried on 21 Aug 1688 in St John the Baptist, Shenton, Leicestershire 4.)
