Mary MAUROIS
(1599-1675) |
Mary MAUROIS 3
Notes: She was the second daughter of Elias Maurois, who had moved to Canterbury from Flanders in the late 16th Century. She did not remarry after her husband died in 1630 , and died at the age of 75 in Broadfriars in London. Her will was translated out of French, so was presumably her main language. Mary married James DE NEU, son of Jacques DE NEU and Antoinette DESROUSSEAUX, on 30 Jan 1625 in Walloon or Strangers Church, Canterbury, Kent.1 2 (James DE NEU was christened on 23 Jan 1597 in Walloon or Strangers Church, Canterbury, Kent 7 and was buried on 27 Dec 1630 in St Antholin Budge Row, London 6.) |
