Richard HAMMOND 1
Notes: Richard was the eldest son, and farmed at Binscombe. His eldest son John (qv) was his executor in 1602. Richard's will shows that his other sons were Henry, who inherited property and rents in Godalming; Robert who was a farmer in Farncombe, and inherited property and rents in Godalming and Compton; and Richard. He (or his son Richard) were listed as billmen in the Surrey Musters of 1583/4. Richard married Margaret. (Margaret was buried on 7 Jul 1598 in St Peter and St Paul, Godalming, Surrey 3.) |
