Robert JOYNER 2Notes: Robert was a tailor in Aberdeen, where he was also a Burger of the City and Deacon of St Nicholas Church. He married Elspet Dickie (qv) in 1719, and had nine children. Their sons Alexander and Robert were also tailors in Aberdeen, and their eldest daughter Barbara married Daniel Cargill, a merchant. Their daughter Elizabeth (qv) married John Ferguson (qv), a cooper. Robert married Elspet DICKIE, daughter of James DICKIE and Unknown, on 17 Nov 1719 in Old Machar, Aberdeen.1 (Elspet DICKIE was christened on 21 Apr 1694 in Old Machar, Aberdeen 4.) |
