James FISHER
(-1804) |
James FISHER 2
Notes: Little is known about James apart from his marriage to Mary Gull (qv) at Great Bentley in 1777, and the baptisms of their nine children at Thorpe-le-Soken. It is not certain that the burial in 1804 is his either. It is likely that he was a farm labourer, the occupation of his two sons. Their eldest son James worked in Great Clacton, and their daughter Rebecca married Henry Mann, a farm labourer in Walton-le-Soken. Their youngest son was Luke (qv). James married Mary GULL, daughter of Richard GULL and Mary ROBINSON, on 2 Oct 1777 in St Mary the Virgin, Great Bentley, Essex.1 (Mary GULL was christened on 6 Jan 1754 in St Mary the Virgin, Great Bentley, Essex 4.) |
